Description
I've decided to sell this beautiful 1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mark I BT7 (2+2).
The car runs very well and has many upgrades, including a set of Brand new Triple 45 DCOE Weber Carburetors.
After having purchased the vehicle, I performed extensive work to bring it to great condition. More information listed below.
In 2014 alone, I invested over $17,000 in the car:
Upgrade to Triple Weber Carburator (45 DCOE) SetupNew Exhaust SystemReupholstered seats and dashNew carpet setNew brake pads, rotors, shoes and cylindersReplaced Seals and Bearings on the diff. Also serviced the diff fluid.New undercoatingReplaced clutch slaveInstalled original steering wheel hornExtreme Dynamat insulating layer beneath carpetsRe-aligned doors, bonnet and trunkNew spark wires and adjusted timing* All parts used are high quality and were ordered from Moss Motors.
Cosmetically, the car is in very good shape, with excellent paint over straight panels with good fit. There are a few door edge chips and superficial cracks, but nothing obvious. The chrome refinished only a few years ago, including the bumpers and front fender trims. Door top trims, and window frames were not redone and show light pitting and light surface scratches. The top is excellent (recently had the frame repainted), and the wheels are great. The wheels are original and quite rare as most Healey's these days roll on spoke wheels. The lights are also excellent.
